The School of Architecture & Urban Planning is home to Wisconsin’s only accredited architecture program and a nationally recognized urban planning department. Its students and faculty are actively involved in shaping conversations, policies and designs in the city, region and beyond.
Architecture & Urban Planning students are empowered to engage in real-world problem solving while also inventing approaches for projects yet to be imagined. Our expert faculty is comprised of internationally recognized architects, planners, and scholars who create a dynamic culture of creative inquiry. Strong connections with future employers, many of whom are alumni, provide limitless opportunities to build a professional network, including internships, externships, interview days, mentoring, and more. Acclaimed architects from around the world bring their expertise to Milwaukee as guest faculty who lead studios that effect positive change in our local communities.
