414 for UWM Giving Day 2023

414 for UWM is the university's annual day of giving, held from noon to noon on April 13 - 14 in conjunction with the city's unofficial "Milwaukee Day" holiday. By investing in UWM, you are investing in the future of Milwaukee...and beyond! 414 for UWM is a day for Panther alumni, students, faculty, staff and friends to join together to show their support for the university we love, and the city we call home.

The Chancellor’s Student Success Fund was established on May 1, 2020, with a $50,000 lead gift from Chancellor Mark Mone and Dr. Sara Swanson. This gift launched a $1 million fundraising campaign with the goal of helping as many students as possible attain their goal of graduating from UWM. The fund is administered by the Dean of Students office, and applications for aid can be submitted for scholarships, fellowships, emergency expenses and/or stipends for research or travel.

Whether you are a proud alum, current student, faculty or staff member or a Panther at heart, there are a variety of ways to get involved! We invite you to sign up as a 414 for UWM Giving Day Ambassador to help spread the word – on social, via email and after you give!  After you sign up as an ambassador you will have access to social posts, hashtags and a custom giving link! 

Yes! Given the nature and time it can take to process this type of gift, we recommend making a pledge on Giving Day and you can then decide the best method of payment. Your pledged amount will count toward our campaign progress. Pledge payments are due prior to June 30, 2023.
