A Community of Excellence
An area of undergraduate excellence, UWM's Honors College promotes a caring community that fosters a strong emphasis on academic achievement with a particular focus on scholarly inquiry; critical thinking; effective reading, writing, and speaking; and individualized achievement.
Students from all majors have the opportunity to enrich their academic experience by integrating Honors courses into their existing degree plans. Honors seminars are offered in the arts, humanities, social sciences and natural sciences, culminating in an Honors College degree—the highest undergraduate degree available at UWM.
